"The festival celebrates nature, particularly Brant geese as they rest and feed on the shores of Parksville and Qualicum Beach on Vancouver Island, British Columbia. In 2016, the festival will feature a variety of activities in March and April.​"

Parksville Beach Festival

​There are many events that take place during the 5-week Beach Fest. Fresh Air Cinema, the International Kite Festival, Fireworks, Sand Castle Competitions and Art in the Park are all held in Parksville's beautiful Community Park right on the ocean, right downtown!
"The Quality Foods Canadian Open Sand Sculpting Competition and Exhibition is a world class event for Master Sand Sculptors and is an official qualifying event for the World Championship of Sand Sculpting! "
